Howard P. ("Pete") Colhoun, CFA
Chairman

Mr. Colhoun spent 20 years at T. Rowe Price Group and over that time was Director of Investment Research, Director of Mutual Funds, and President and Portfolio Manager of the New Era Fund. He founded Emerging Growth Partners- a unique, institutional partnership investing in both public and private small companies. He was a principal participant on Wall Street Week, a national Public Television program for 32 years. Today, he serves on nine boards, for both profit and non-profit companies, including the Harbor Mutual Funds, with $50 billion in assets. He is a senior investment advisor to the Gates Family of Colorado. He is a graduate of Princeton University, Harvard Business School, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Norway. He is a founder of a family foundation, and writes and lectures on the topic of philanthropy.

Andrew M. Carter

Mr. Carter is the Chairman and CEO of Hyperion Capital Management, Inc. and the President and founding principal (in 1994) of Andrew M. Carter & Company, which manages high quality fixed income portfolios for substantial institutions. He is also the Vice-Chairman and partner of The China Business Group, which helps enterprises enter or expand in mainland China. He began his career by serving as manager of Harvard University's $500 million bond portfolio in 1964. While serving at Wellington Management Company (1968-1972), he was the Ford Foundation's first outside investment manager. As a partner at Carter Doyle & Co. (1972-1975), he suggested the design of the first Wall Street bond index, known as the Salomon Index. In 1975, he joined his firm with Jennison Associates, and grew the bond group to more than $10 billion in assets. He is a graduate of Harvard College.

The Honorable Thomas P. Salmon

Mr. Salmon retired as President of the University of Vermont in 1997 after nearly six years of service. Much of his life has been devoted to law and public service. He served two terms as Governor of Vermont (1973-1977), following service as a judge and Vermont state legislator. He formerly served as chair of the Board of Advisors of Green Mountain Power Corporation and served on a number of other corporate boards. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from Boston College, and holds a Masters of Law degree (in taxation) from New York University Law School.

Ralph E. Stuart, Jr.

One of the founding partners of Wellington Management Company of Boston, Mr. Stuart is a 1956 graduate of Princeton University. Until his retirement in 1997, Mr. Stuart was responsible for overseeing Wellington's investment process, which included the functions of research, economics, and trading. He developed the firm's investment counseling service for individuals, and was an original director of the Wellington Trust Company, a fully integrated investment affiliate.

Gene Tremblay, CFA

As a partner and executive at the Wellington Management Company of Boston, Mr. Tremblay served as the firm's Director of Research and Trading until his retirement in 2003. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Mr. Tremblay oversaw and directed Wellington's fundamental, economic and quantitative research and trading processes. He is a graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology and the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
